Photos And Identification
Photos are used to generate rock, mineral, gemstone, crystal or fossil identification results. Do not submit photos that contain sensitive personal information or images you do not have permission to use.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party service providers for analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, cloud processing, AI analysis and market reference data. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices where applicable.
Subscriptions And Purchases
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play or related subscription services. We receive purchase status information needed to unlock paid features, but we do not receive your full payment card details.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the app, support users, improve reliability, meet legal requirements or resolve disputes.
Data Deletion
You can delete local app data, such as saved scan history and collection records stored on your device, by using any available in-app delete controls or by uninstalling the app from your device.
If you want to request deletion of personal information associated with support requests, cloud processing records or other server-side records that we can reasonably identify, contact us at support@ashleytech.com with the subject line "Rock Identifier Data Deletion Request". We may ask for information needed to verify and process your request.
Subscription and purchase records are managed by Apple App Store, Google Play and related payment or subscription providers. You may need to manage or delete those records through the relevant app store account settings. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
Children
Rock Identifier Stone Scan is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Choices
You may choose not to grant camera or photo library permissions, although some identification features may not work without them. You may also manage subscriptions through the relevant app store account settings.
